You will create a drawing of an ordinary “everyday” object. You may use any drawing material(s) or medium(s) that we have covered this year. Your object must include value and a cast shadow. You may use any type of paper/board (this will depend on what materials/mediums you use). Your paper size should be anywhere between 11 x 17 and 18 x 24 (square or rectangle/portrait or landscape).
Pinterest Portion: You must pin 20 examples of artworks depicting ordinary objects. Try to look for artists we did not cover in the Powerpoint. Examples of Artists: Andy Warhol, Giuseppe Colarusso, Jeff Koons, emily blincoe, Mary Pratt, etc., Note: You must bring in your object for next class. It will then be photographed. Ideally you will work from both the actual object and the photograph.
